Levina RS-28P – FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions – Levina RS-28P

What is the Levina RS-28P used for? +
RS-28P is designed to relieve arthritis and joint pain using a combination of both TENS and NMES technologies. It’s ideal for knees, shoulders, elbows, wrists, and more.
How long does it take to relieve my pain? +
Generally, it takes 10–15 minutes to relieve pain. We recommend completing one 30-minute session to prolong the relief effect for up to 6–7 hours.
Is it safe to use every day? +
Yes. RS-28P is FDA-cleared for over-the-counter use and safe for daily sessions of 20–30 minutes. Always follow the user manual for best results.
How do I apply the device? +
Wrap the Wing Electrodes on your knee and snap on the pod directly. Ensure the skin is clean and dry. Press and hold the power button to power it on. Adjust intensity as needed. We strongly recommend adjusting the intensity to a strong but comfortable level for the best result.
Do I need to replace the pads? +
Yes. Each gel pad lasts around 30–50 uses depending on skin type and usage. Replacement pads are available through our website.
Can I use it on both knees or shoulders? +
Yes. If you need relief on both sides at once, we recommend purchasing a second pod. RS-28P is sold as a single unit for focused, portable use.
What’s included in the box? +
Each RS-28P kit includes 1 wireless TENS pod, 2 wing and 1 medium butterfly reusable electrode pads, a USB charging cable, and a quick-start guide.
Can I bring it on flights? +
Yes. RS-28P is portable and TSA-compliant. Make sure it’s turned off and packed in carry-on or checked luggage.
What if I feel weak sensations or can't feel the stimulation at all? +
(1) If the electrodes are too dry and lose their adhesive properties: replace them with new electrodes. (2) If the intensity is too low: adjust to a comfortable level. (3) Ensure the electrodes are fully connected and in contact with the skin.
Feeling uncomfortable or experiencing noticeable pain during stimulation? +
(1) If the intensity is too high: reduce the intensity. (2) If the electrodes are worn out: replace them with new ones.
Feeling different sensations compared to usual? +
Ensure all settings are correct, verify electrode placement, and slightly adjust the position if needed.
Stimulator showing low battery? +
When the stimulator's light flashes red, it indicates a low battery. Pause and recharge the device.
Intermittent output? +
This is normal. RS-28P combines TENS and NMES modes, which may cause periodic variation in frequency.
Weak stimulation at the start? +
Gradually increase intensity to a comfortable level.
Ineffective stimulation? +
Reposition the electrodes and readjust the intensity.
Power on but no sensation? +
Check if electrodes are connected properly. Inspect for wear. Try new pads if needed.
Can it be used on any body part? +
Do NOT use on throat, across the chest, or on the head. For optimal relief, follow placement guidelines and adjust intensity based on tolerance.
